Getting started
- Fit the wand and the cleaner head shown for your package. Check the floor manufacturer’s cleaning recommendations.
- Fully charge the battery before the first clean and securely fit the click-in battery.
- Use the display button to select the cleaning mode and watch the screen for battery, filter, or blockage messages.
Cleaning and maintenance
Follow the filter-washing instructions and allow at least 24 hours for complete drying. Empty the bin at MAX and inspect tools for tangled debris with the machine stopped.
Common questions
Does this manual cover a screw-in battery?
This page selects the click-in battery and LCD version. Use the model selector on Dyson support if your battery is secured with screws.
Why does it stop or pulse?
Check the displayed warning and inspect the air path and filter using the guide’s blockage and maintenance instructions.
Can I reinstall a freshly washed filter?
Only when it is completely dry. Dyson requires at least 24 hours of drying before refitting.
